This Award is instituted by the International Institute of Organized Research (I2OR), a registered MSME with the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises under the Government of India. It is meant to recognize experts who have risen to the top of the Cyber Security field and are making monumental impact through their original research.

I received this award for my "work on phishing training that has enabled numerous medium and small-scale businesses and nonprofits to improve their cyber security defenses, and consequently impacted the lives of thousands of individuals across the globe, and provoked widespread interest in the research community".

The AAAS Cyber Security Award aims to recognize researchers around the world who have made significant impact to cyber security in Africa. Every year, through nominations, the AAAS reviews the notable research awards this honor to the most impactful one.

I was awarded this honor for my "outstanding contributions to the cyber security field through Phisherman’s Net, my toolkit for developing and analyzing phishing training campaigns" and the impact it had on cyber security in Africa.
